As good as ever
We have stayed at the Melrose several times and we love it. We stayed this time in Room 2. It is a nice big room and has a great view of the street. Loveky furnishings. Breakfasts are amazing and there is plenty to choose from. The Melrose is central for everywhere which is just what you need. The owners, Tracey and Kevin are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Will be returning in the new year.

I could not fault my stay at the Melrose guest house the welcome from Kevin was brilliant he explained everything ina simple and clear way gave us the key to a lock up car park ( bonus)the guest house is spotless , warm and comfortable the bedrooms are warm , spotless and very comfortable bathroom very spacious with a great shower and lovely clean white towels . The breakfast choice is very good and the breakfast itself was absolutely delicious and served with care from Tracey . I can not fault this place Added bonus we got there a hour and a half earlier and was allowed to move straight inWill definitely visit the Melrose guest house again.
